UNSED was a mysterious division of the UN, believed to be nonexistent before its ascent as the last organized fragment of the UN in 2088, following the fall of Russian Federation.
Officially, UNSED stands for Unified Nations Space Exploration Division, managing the construction and maintenance of various space stations across the solar system as well as the colonization of Mars and Venus. Later, UNSED also manages the colonization of five worlds around Earth as the predecessor of Five World Alliance, and stayed as a considerably powerful organization under FWA.
Unofficially, UNSED stands for Unified Network of Special Extranormal Division, comprised of an old, mysterious organization known only as "C" and a gathering of specialized paranormal research divisions from multiple nations, including former Euro-African Coalition and NAFU. In the early space exploration age, limited to the solar system, UNSED used the various space station in order to store and neutralize various paranormal artifact that cannot be destroyed in Earth, due to its dependency to Earth's ley lines.
In the subsequent ages of Five World Alliance, UNSED's mission expanded to investigate the paranormal events and artifact created in all five worlds, including the Remniscience. CRD, Covert Remniscience Division of the FWA is a division of UNSED, despite the usage of the word Covert, CRD is not related to the mysterious organization Covert/Black.
